A decade of commitment, passion and responsibility
Efitervic was born in 2013 as a result of the concerns of our CEO, Enric Buxó. After years of experience in the world of construction, Enric decided to launch this project from an innovative, critical and committed view. His training as a technical architect and his knowledge give him a global vision of the current land planning and its needs.
In 2014 they publicly presented Efitervic’s business project to the College of Technical Architecture of Barcelona and was awarded the first prize for undertaking. We are convinced of the work we have done and mostly of the work we still have to do, that is why we work day by day to improve the quality of life of our homes and planet.
Now the European Commission with the Next Generation funds, mostly aimed to energetic rehabilitation, awards our clients and, in turn, confirms that the path we took is not only the correct path, but the path we need.

WHAT CAN WE INSULATE?
ROOF
INSULATION
We insulate all kinds of roofs to stop the cold or the heat from getting out. You will avoid up to a 30% of energy loss.
CEILING
INSULATION
We insulate ceilings, dropped ceilings and non-habitable attics to avoid energy waste and make energy profitable.
WALL
INSULATION
Facades are made of two brick walls. Between them, there is an air chamber. We fill it to create a compact and joint-free insulating layer to transform the walls into thermal walls. You will preserve a 25% of energy more in your house than in a house with no insulation.
THE INSULATION PROCESS
1. ANALYSIS
The first step is analyzing the facade air chamber conditions. The thickness of the chamber differs depending on the construction and the region, so we have to check it with endoscopic equipment.
2. PERFORATION
To gain access into the air chamber and inject the insulation, we make holes from inside or outside the house, depending on the accessibility conditions.
3. BLOW-IN
Through the holes, we inject the material creating an insulating layer that will protect the inside from the cold, heat, humidity and noise.
4. SEALED
Once we are done with the insufflating, we seal the holes and work on the final touches.

CELLULOSE
Organic material made from a mix of recycled newspapers and borax. This is what makes it fireproof: it avoids the fire propagation without generating toxic gases. Moreover, this material is resistant to rodents and insects. It is the best insulation against heat. Its composition makes it breathable and it provides soundproofing as well.

MINERAL WOOL
Mineral wool gives an excellent thermal insulation and soundproofing. It is a fireproof and incombustible material; it does not burn nor produce toxic gases. It is an inorganic and inert material; it will not rot nor allow the presence of microorganisms. Moreover, it remains unalterable through the years and it does not need any kind of maintenance.

Expanded cork granules is a 100% organic material, it is insulating and waterproof. It is very effective against humidity and stands the test of time. Moreover, it is an amazing soundproofing.
